Animation Production 2
Prerequisite: Animation Production or Animation Basics. 42 classroom hours.
In this course students will have the opportunity to discover advanced methods of animation production by continuing on productions started in the Animation Production Course or working from a new narrative or experimental concept. The primary focus is on assisting animation filmmakers with lessons on planning, scheduling, outsourcing, and completing a production budget. Advanced studies of the Animation Principles, production pipeline, production management, problem solving, and completing a film will be the secondary concentration. Discussions on marketing your animation production to festivals and considerations for career opportunities will also be important topics. Considerable outside work is necessary.
