Yes, when you’re looking for voiceover work, it helps to sound like James Earl Jones. But it also helps to know how to approach the business. This intensive course covers all the aspects of performing and recording professional voice-overs, AND how to create a successful business plan. You’ll learn the ins and outs of the business, including casting directors, websites, talent agents, union membership, auditioning, home studios, and demos. Class demonstrations include script genres and breakdowns, vocal warm-ups, microphone techniques, and session etiquette. Grading is based on class participation and the effort to create engaging readings.
