View Camera Techniques
Prerequisite: Black and White Photography 2. 42 classroom hours
View camera photography is a large format, single exposure technique that can be used to produce extremely high quality images. This is an advanced course with an emphasis on creating a personal vision while exploring the application of 4x5 photography using both digital and analog methods and exploiting the unique potential of the camera for image corrections and rendering detail. View camera and meters are provided, but students pay for their own supplies. Grading is based on a final portfolio. In addition to tuition, a $70 course fee will be charged.
