Acting for the Camera
Prerequisite: None. (Filmmaking or acting experience is highly recommended) 42 classroom hours.
All acting is an art. But understanding the difference between acting for stage or camera is an art unto itself. In this class, we’ll use video to enhance our lessons as we study scripts, analyze characters, and work on film acting techniques. Course requirements include outside reading, preparation and rehearsal of scenes, outside viewing of film and television programs, and written assignments. Grading is based on performance, effort, and written assignments.
